Welcome to the spring edition of Concert's newsletter. With the days getting warmer and the flowers popping up everywhere, there's a spring in our step as we bring you our second newsletter of the year.

In this edition, we welcome back our Customer showcase feature and it gives us much pleasure to introduce a local charity organisation, Deafness Support; there's an informative case study of one of our customers, Howard Worth; and we're also asking for your help in completing our customer survey later this month... with an opportunity to win £100 John Lewis vouchers. Please read on, and hurrah for sunnier and longer days just around the corner!

Customer showcase

Deafness Support Network (DSN) is a charity which provides a wide range of practical help, advice and support for deaf and hard of hearing people in Cheshire.

We at Concert are proud to work with such a group of committed individuals and were honoured when they asked us to provide voice solutions for their offices.

We helped them to upgrade their entire system giving them the ability to manage the entire telephone network in-house as well as being on hand 24/7 with our unrivalled customer support.

Spokesman for the charity, Mike Maloney, said: "We like not having to deal with a corporate supplier like BT – we now have a friendly named person who answers the phone in a professional and clear manner."

Howard Worth

Howard Worth Logo Leading North West accountancy firm, Howard Worth, approached Concert for help while relocating offices and launching a new marketing campaign.

Concert ensured everything went to plan and by using our close relationship with Openreach we were able to meet all deadlines and prevent the business suffering any downtime during the move.

We also supplied them with a new memorable 'Golden Number' and a smart web-based solution which allows them to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using call statistics.

James Crowther Earlier this month, we were delighted to have Louise Gresham return to work after having her baby. With her hands full at home, she tells us that she's coming back to work for a rest. Tch! Welcome back Louise!

We're also pleased to announce the addition of James Crowther (right) to the account management team. With a strong background in financial services, James will be instrumental in developing our business in the financial and insurance sectors. It's fair to say that James is a bit of a musical maestro, singing and playing in two bands. We're already looking forward to him leading the karaoke at the Christmas party! He's also a Liverpool FC fan - but don't hold that against him!

For those of you kept on tenterhooks for the past few months, it was Ian who has a cat called 'Charlie Pink Panther'! The things we never knew...
